After studying colour contrasts with primary colours I'm really hungry for such as ochre, terrakotta, shades of gray - the colours you get when you never wash your aquarelle case (that's me!). But from the other hand I've strangely started to like pastels, rosa and mint. And a colour I call "water green".
Loved your comment on my blog yesterday. I read it to my husband and he said, "ah, a wonderful story..." Few words can tell a full tale - you transporting us :)
Cats are perfect companions for artists by the way... two siblings cats will purr and keep each other company while you paint - a very good idea!
I go between needing to see and be around bold Matisse colors to stark white/neutrals... Love your photos.
