Koulussa meneillään olevan maalauskurssin
puitteissa suuntasimme tänään maalaamaan öljyväreillä
Koskenrannan maisemia. Ihanampaa kevätpäivää puuhaan
ei olisi voinut sattua - sääli toista ryhmää,
jolla kurssi oli ensin. Poloiset maalasivat
10 asteen pakkasessa haalareissa tutisten!

Kuvat ylhäältä alas:
1. Rannasta löytyi yllättävän monipuolisesti aiheita.
2. Allekirjoittanut itse
3. Kaverini MK pastellipohjineen, jolle kiitos kuvista!
Today our painting course headed to paint
outside by a stream nearby our school. We were
using oil paint. The day couldn't have been
more beautiful! Pity to those poor class mates
who had their painting course first: they
had to do the same thing in -10 c!
Pictures from up to down:
1. The views on a small area were surprisingly various.
2. Yours truly
3. My class mate MK and her pastel canvasses
Iiks! Ihanaa!
VastaaPoistaSohvi, what a wonderful peak into your world... such a nice view to paint as well! I love plein aire painting... though I find I enjoy the process more than my end result most of the time. :) Have you been painting like this long?
VastaaPoistaJanis: Yes, I also think that the process is the main thing about this kind of painting - seeing, studying, learning. And ofcourse enjoying. I've been drawing since a little kid, but I've tried various techiques without ever concentrating on anything. So I can't say I've been painting for long... Just every now and then. But I suddenly find it very very tempting.
